Friends of Carl Von Linne School ("FCVL")

The Friends of Carl Von Linne School promotes and support cultural, educational and enrichment programs for the Avondale community and assists Carl Von Linne Elementary by raising funds for programming and purchases not covered by the school's operating budget.

FCVL has supported the Fine Arts, Culinary, Sports, Coding and After-school programs as well as providing family and friends with opportunities to socialize with other Linne School families and members of our local community.

The FCVL is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Monetary donations of any amount are accepted at any time. In-kind donations of materials, gift cards, raffle prizes and auction items are also accepted. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

CARL VON LINNE ELEMENTARY

For over 100 years Linne School has been providing a world-class education to children in the Avondale neighborhood. As the school's philosophy evolves, it brings forth a commitment to "Educating the Whole Child". The fine arts are used to support and develop a vision of high quality academic programs that contribute to the intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being of our students. Our objective is to develop high-quality programs that:

Make learning more interactive;

Foster inter-disciplinary learning;

Build self-esteem; and
